As you may be aware, discussions surrounding the potential abolition of the NEA and NEH have created additional uncertainty in our community. It's time to stand for the arts. Organizations like ours rely heavily on the support of passionate patrons like you to continue our mission of delivering exceptional theater experiences. With your help, we can ensure that our programming not only survives but thrives.

The Griffin Theatre's fiscal year concludes on June 30th, and we are seeking to bridge a funding gap of $12,500 to ensure a balanced budget and to start our new year on solid ground. While $12,500 might seem like a modest amount, for a small to medium-sized arts organization like ours, it can mean the difference between covering over six months of rent for our office and rehearsal space or paying the talented designers we’ve engaged for our upcoming production. We recently celebrated the success of our world-premiere musical, The House Without a Christmas Tree, and have been actively touring productions such as Frindle and The Stinky Cheese Man and our newest production, Astronaut Group I. This past season Griffin's touring productions reached more than 70,000 young people nationwide. We are particularly thrilled about our upcoming summer production—the Midwest premiere of Dennis Kelly’s Girls & Boys,directed by ensemble member Robin Witt—and we want you to be part of this journey.
